We begin when our perfect 13 have arrived, September 2022
By Application Only

Restore your Relationship with Life by Transforming your Trauma into Your Dharma

Embodied Dharma is an immersive journey into the full expression of YOUR most intimate purpose life embodied and fulfilled. We will be accessing flow states through Core Embodiment® Practices to ignite your inner channel and creative muse. In this way, you will tap into and experience your wholeness and fullness- expanding your creative capacity and circuitry. Allowing the flourishing of your deepest gifts into the world. Receiving the blessing and the gift of who you already are is where we begin.

Do you have a creative project you wish to complete? A painting? A website? An online course? A musical or screen play? Something calling to be expressed in a tangible way that is a direct reflection of you, from your core?

All creativity stems from the same place. Many people have creative ideas... but to follow your big magic idea all the way through to completion requires accountability, feedback, community, support and inspiration.

Over the course of 4 months, limited to 12-16 ripe and ready humans, Embodied Dharma begins with a deep dive virtual retreat, and includes weekly guided embodiment practice sessions, 1:1 apprenticeship with Ajaya, small-group peer reflection and access to Ajaya's Library of teachings & practices.

To apply, please fill out the application below with as much detail as you can, and I will be in touch to set up a call to determine whether Embodied Dharma is truly the right fit for you at this time.

Inherent to Being human is an intense urge or calling to create amazing things. To be of benefit to others. To make a difference with what Mary Oliver calls, “your one wild and precious life”.

Whether you're called to create children, steward land, build rockets that go to the moon, save the rain-forests or conduct the next research project for ending world hunger — each of us by design are creators.

Being human is the most creative act of life unto itself! For there is only one, unique, wild and precious you, so in this sense your purpose is already fulfilled — to simply be yourself.
How you translate who you are into the world is referred to as your Dharma. The unique creative and spiritual labor of bringing all that you are, out into the world to participate in the co-creation of what we call, reality.

For most people, simply having a J O B or solely being a parent does not bring about the fulfillment that comes through the grit and the grace of embodying your Dharma. There is an inexplicable force of nature that rises through each of, knocking on the door of the heart, saying, “I must be lived!”. Yet it seems that the times we are living in are more challenging then ever to open the door, say “YES” and allow the space in our lives to truly listen and follow what this inner force of nature is asking of us.

As author Sarah Wilson so clearly states, “we are living in truly overwhelming times. The climate crisis, political polarization, racial injustice and coronavirus have left many of us in a state of spiritual PTSD. We have retreated, morally and psychologically; we are experiencing a crisis of disconnection - from one another, from our true values, from joy, and from life as we feel we are meant to be living it.”

Add to this picture that most of all of us are already sitting on a mountain of karma from generations and generations of systemic, ancestral and cultural trauma which is being activated by the current world stage.
We are collectively coming to understand that the hidden dimensions that underlie most psychological and many physiological symptoms have their roots in un-integrated trauma. Which gives rise to an impaired capacity for connection to self, others and an ensuing loss of aliveness. I think if we are really honest— it’s not just a loss of aliveness, many of us live in a chronic state of deprivation.

Which has nothing to do with how much money is in your bank account, food in the fridge or friends or family you have.

In fact statistics show that in countries where there is the most wealth and abundance, the people can be the most psychologically and creatively disabled. We are deprived of what matters the most to the human heart.

This poverty is not about what you have or do not have— but from not expressing your Dharma.

This parable from Jesus in the Gospel of Thomas, comes in so powerfully, when he says, “But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty. If you do not bring forth what is alive within you, what you do not bring forth will destroy you."

I do not intend to be overly dramatic here, quoting Jesus and the dire nature of this parable. But can you feel the truth of this inside you? That there is place inside you that feels the potency and urgency of this call to bring forth what is most alive within you? To tap into your most creative potential yet. To dream your wildest, most precious life yet. Times of crisis call for innovation. And our world is in dire need of people who have come alive and are daring to dream as Charles Eisenstein so eloquently says, “the more beautiful world that we know in our hearts is possible”.

And yet, how do we access our creative genius in the current climate?
We all know that when the nervous system is in a chronic trauma response— it’s nearly impossible to access the aspect of the brain responsible for creativity.

Given the stark reality of the many forces that seem to be in opposition to what is so desperately needed in our world, my question to you is, what if what appears to be in the way, is in fact the way? What if our task is to transform our personal and collective Karma into our Dharma?
How do we make art of the fragmentation and disconnection?
How do we make medicine of the pain?
How do we foster a new earth amidst the perils of a dying epoch?

This body of work is greatly informed by Nature's intelligence; from the developmental perspective of the embryo as well as other fractal motifs within undomesticated nature. You can expect to be re-enchanted by the miracle of life as I introduce you to your original memories of wholeness and your true nature as the experience of creative aliveness.
EMBODIED DHARMA is a path of ego relaxation. A paradox. For the more you step into your fullest expression, the more you must open to the emptiness of your true nature. From here, you will discover a new-found continuity of safety within that allows you to take more and more risks in expressing your authentic self.

You know in your heart of hearts that this is all you have ever truly wanted.
You have simply longed for a way to LIVE IT.

For you are this: awake, aware, and trustworthy, at the very core of your being. You can allow this intelligence to permeate all of your activities and relationships.

EMBODIED DHARMA is the Soul Curriculum for being of the Greatest Service to Others while Loving Yourself First.
If you are a service professional— a doctor, therapist, nurse, coach, yoga instructor CEO or other roles in which leading with care, attunement and service to others are your true vocation underneath your title; then you know that you are being summoned more than ever to show up and offer your gifts to the larger field, perhaps even on the front lines.

Please note that this apprenticeship is not specifically for “service professionals”. Although they are often called to it as this practice can greatly enhance however you are currently engaging with others.

Whether or not you identify in this way, each of us is called in our own way to walk our unique walk of integrity—  a life of wholeness, purpose, and meaning. An aspect of being in integrity and being fully alive is the recognition and we each have our own hurt, pain, grief, anger and old traumas to tend and integrate along the human journey, regardless of your vocation or level of mastery.

We all need conscious containers of support and inspiration to continually deepen in the discovery of how to meet our own ongoing embrace of the human experience. As we become more and more comfortable in our own skin, we become a permission giving space to others. No amount of conventional schooling can replace your greatest ‘credentials’—  that which you have lived through. Nothing can replace the compassionate insight of your own direct experience— for it is that which allows you to truly be with another from a neutral heart, rather than an agenda

TESTIMONIALS
This course led to an experience of Divine Bliss too ineffable to describe in words. It included a sense of timelessness, and my sense of self dissolved into our divine Source. Ajaya’s gentle guidance led us effortlessly to this magical, rich and nourishing moment. The meditations and knowings have stayed with me and I’ve been inspired to share them with my team at work.

- Doug Wilson, MD

Participating in Ajaya’s course was a gift during a very upside down time. The course began just before I closed the doors to our retreat center of 25 years, due to the pandemic. Having the consistency of the loving invitation back home— to my Hara, my Heart and my Head was so helpful and beautiful.  I have worked with Ajaya at a couple of in person retreats in the past and found her presence and her teaching brought the medicine I needed in times of transition and overwhelm.

Life always presents challenges and the initiations into suffering. Having
others in the group who are willing to be honest about whatever is going on for them in the moment is always supportive.  Ajaya guides with a great deal  of knowledge and experience.  Trusting that she has truly been on her own deep journey provides the safety that I needed to drop into the deeper currents of my own life.
- Gail Warner, MA MFT

After one session with Ajaya, I knew that I had found someone who could guide me into my deepest longing to come home to myself. With incredible tenderness and wisdom, Ajaya creates a space to rediscover and remember the simple and potent beauty of living from the heart, and experiencing the embodied fullness of being. I come away from every session with such immense gratitude for her depth of knowledge and ability to foster such intimacy and truth. As a therapist, I treasure how presence has the capacity to transform, and being in Ajaya’s presence is transformative. She is not only changing my life, but she is also empowering me to a greater vessel of healing for others. I feel so honored to have such an incredible healer, teacher, and companion in my life.

-Kailey Nykai, MA, CAGS, LMHC, LCDP

“Ajaya is one of those rare healers who can see directly into your core, understand your needs (deeper than you know yourself), and offer sacred healing to your most hidden, needy places in the deep psyche. She is filled with kindness and light, so healing comes as naturally as if you were bathed in love by the Goddess herself. Don’t miss the opportunity to be touched and guided by this divine healer — no matter what ails you.”
-Lion Goodman, PCC, creator of the Clear Beliefs Coach Training,
“A Course in Thriving definitely worked its alchemical magic on me! I came out of it with so much inspiration and life force moving through me! It feels like it returned me to my own innocent nature, and source of life. What a gift! Thank you, Ajaya!” —

“There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, not how it compares with other expression. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open." ~ Martha Graham
